Description : myrtle is a native across the Mediterranean region, Macaronesia, western Asia, and the Indian subcontinent. It is also cultivated. The plant is an evergreen shrub or small tree, growing to 5 metres (16 ft) tall. The myrtle flower has a rich history as a flower of love and marriage. This star-shaped flower is typically white and adorns the branches of an evergreen shrub native to Europe and North Africa.

Constituents : Cineole, Nerol, Geraniol, Myrtenol, myrtenol acetate, linalool (20%), limonene (23%), pinene (14%), p-cymene, cineol (11%), geraniol, nerol, phenylpropanoid, methyleugenol.
