: Put the wilted lilac flowers in a container and pour in your preferred oil. Make sure the oil covers all of the petals; use a spoon or chopstick to press down if needed. Label the jar with the date and its contents and cover it. Give the oil four to six weeks to infuse in a warm location.

Description :
Ajowan Essential Oil Eastern Europe and temperate parts of Asia are home to Syringa vulgaris. Lilac plants are now extensively grown throughout the world, especially in the US and India. The leaves and blooms of lilacs are steam-distilled to extract the essential oil. It smells like fresh flowers and is a light purple colour. The yield of essential oil extracted from leaves and flowers ranges from 0.8 to 3.5%. The benefits of lilac essential oil include lowering anxiety and elevating mood.

Constituents :
Ocimene, 1,4-dimethoxybenzene/hydroquinone dimethyl ether, indole, isooleuropein, syringin, isoligustroside, and ß-Amyrin acetate will all be discussed.

How to use :
In 20 ml of olive oil put 8-10 drops of Ajowan oil and massage all over the body or locally. It is relaxing and refreshing. IN a cup of olive oil put 4-5 drops of Ajowan oil and massage on the joints for relief from the pains. Add 5-10 drops to a table spoon of either base oil. Put 10-15 drops of essential oil to 50ml of shampoo. It soothes your hair. Add 3-5 drops of the oil in one pint of boiling water. Breathe in the steam for a few minutes. Repeat 2-4 times per day. It’s good for the nose and the throat.

Benefit :
Because lilacs are naturally astringent, they tighten the skin and minimise pores and wrinkles. I adore using them in anti-wrinkle creams and toners. They are perfect for acne since they are naturally antibacterial and antifungal. To relieve acne, mix this oil with an aloe vera lotion, an acne mask, or an acne toner.

Caution Note:
Due to its strong concentration, don’ t use it directly on skin, because it can irritate it. You should dilute it. Before use, consult your qualified aromatherapy practitioner. For external use only. Do not swallow or inhale it. It can’t be diluted in water. Avoid it during pregnancy and lactation. Avoid it during kidney problems or high blood pressure. Avoid it if susceptible to epilepsy. Keep it away from children. Not to be used on children. Always first test a small amount of essential oil for sensitivity or allergic reaction. Do not use Ajowan essential oil with homeopathic remedies. Keep it in a dark glass bottle with a dropper.
