Description : There are over 50 species of juniper. The juniper berries used to make the essential oil come from the Common Juniper plant, scientifically known as Juniperus communis Juniper berries have been used for medicinal purposes since ancient times. It has a distinctive aroma that is woody, sweet, fresh and crisp. It have a slightly piney flavor with a touch of both fruitiness and pepperiness.

Constituents : a-pinene, b-pinene, camphene, sabinene, a-phellandrene, myrcene, a-terpinene, y-terpinene, b-phellandrene, 1,4-cineole, p-cymene, bornyl acetate, terpinen-4-ol, cayophyllene. It also has trace amounts of camphor, limonene, linalool, linalyl acetate, borneol & nerol , termenic alcohol

Uses : Add 1–2 drops to water or citrus drinks as part of a natural cleansing regimen. Apply 1 drop to problematic skin areas to promote a clear, healthy complexion. Diffuse with citrus oils to freshen and purify the air and to lessen stress. For joint support: Add 4 drops Juniper Berry, and 3 drops each Peppermint, Marjoram, Roman Chamomile, Helichrysum, and Ginger essential oils to a 5 ml roller bottle. Top with fractionated coconut oil.
