Description : Cardamom seeds (ground) have a subtle scent and flavour: mildy spicy, slightly nutty, aromatic and sweet, a bit woody, vague hint of fennel or anise. cardamom is a spice made from the seed pods of various plants in the ginger family. Cardamom has a strong, pungent flavor and aroma, with hints of lemon, mint, and smoke.

Constituents : myrcene (27%), a-terpineol (45%), limonene (8%), b-phellandrene (3%), menthone (6%), 1,8-cineol (2%), sabinene (2%), smaller amounts of heptane.
